FARM HAPPENINGS

May Day Basket Making

Gathering flower posies into baskets and leaving them at a friend's door during this time of year is said to bring about good fortune. Whether for you or a special friend, join us in the studio as we create these small arrangements with beautiful flowers and ribbons to adorn our homes.

*Included with admission

Petite Honey Cake

As nature wakes up from its winter slumber, so too pollinators seek food from newly sprung blooms. Honey infused foods and drink are a delicious way to evoke the fertility of spring. Enjoy your own petite almond honey cake.

*Included with admission

Nature Scavenger Hunt & Keepsake

A fun way to explore our gardens is through finding little trinkets and natural specimens to collect in your own keepsake jar. Perhaps if you see a woodland spirit, make sure to thank them for their offerings.

*Included with admission

Folk Music & Maypole Dance

Our own Jack-in-the-Green will be playing tunes on pipes and tin whistles throughout the day. His music may lead in our heirloom orchard, by water's edge or the comfort of a roaring bonfire. Join him in a round of dance by ribboned trees and maypole.

*Included with admission

Bonfire & S'mores

Traditionally in Celtic culture, bonfires are lit to ward off darkness and usher in the longer days of light.

Gather yourselves around our warm stone pit to enjoy good conversation and select spring delicacies. We will have a variety of pastries, savory and sweet s'mores, salad, and refreshments for purchase at the Craft House.
